Kenwood TM-D710E

This radio usually is my preferred mobile.  However I have two extension kits and use Powerpole connectors, so it is easily removed from the vehicle. 

Before this, I had a TinyTrack unit and my old Kenwood TH-28E for APRS, but now this is used as totally portable unit for pedestrian APRS or instant mobile, with self contained battery for radio, GPS and TinyTrack.
